Barbering has long been more than just a service. A haircut is part of a person’s character, style, and story. This idea inspired the creation of BART Barbershop’s new creative project.

For each chapter, we choose one theme and build an entire visual world around it — characters, hairstyles, costumes, location, and atmosphere.

The first question was: What would the Pope and a cardinal look like if they went to BART Barbershop?

We did not want to create a parody or an ordinary costume photoshoot. Our goal was to combine the dignity of these classic figures with contemporary men’s aesthetics.

Each hairstyle was designed to reflect the character. The Pope was given clean, precise lines, while the cardinal’s look retained more natural texture and movement.

For the shoot, we chose Savoia Castle in Škvorec, near Prague. Its historic architecture, castle grounds, and interiors became more than just a backdrop — they were an important part of the story.

Savoia Castle is an ideal location for creative projects of this kind. Its team is always accommodating, approaches every project with great professionalism, and helps create excellent conditions for the entire production.

It was here that the costumes, hairstyles, and atmosphere came together to create one cinematic image.

This project is only the first chapter. We want to show that BART is not simply a place to have your hair and beard groomed, but a creative space where barbering meets fashion, photography, film, and art.

Because sometimes a great story does not begin with a script.

Sometimes it begins with a haircut.
